Planning Submission

In July 2024, RES submitted a planning application for the 13 turbine Mynydd Maen Wind Farm to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW) and the formal 5-week consultation period commenced on 14 April 2025. A statutory consultation period was advertised by PEDW to enable the public, as well as statutory consultees, to submit their comments on the proposal. The closing date for comments was 19 May 2025. 

After reviewing the planning application and written representations, PEDW's appointed Inspector requested Further Information to benefit their Examination. PEDW are now holding a formal 5-week consultation on the Further Information, which commenced on 9 September 2025. Representations on the Further Information may be submitted by email to PEDW.infrastructure@gov.wales or by post to PEDW, Crown Building, Cathays Park, Cardiff, CF10 3NQ. All representations should be made by 14 October 2025 and include the reference DNS/3276725.
